Teeth whitening is a safe cosmetic procedure that works by bleaching your teeth. The best way to maintain your smile is to ensure healthy teeth and gums but teeth whitening can be a simple yet effective way to add an extra sparkle to your smile. Teeth can sometimes appear dull due to age or factors such as staining from smoking, tea, coffee. Teeth whitening can take anywhere between an hour to a few weeks depending on the treatment and the teeth itself. However, most patients usually take three week to whiten their teeth. If you have any fillings or restorations, these won’t change colour and may need to be replaced and you can sometimes get short term sensitivity.
